Korean War (Conflict) Memorial
NIM, Columbus, GA
23 - 24 October 2024

The Korean War Memorial is an exhibit at the National Infantry Museum in Columbus, Georgia. The memorial honors the sacrifices of allied troops in the Korean War which is represented by bronze statues of four Korean War heroes: legendary Korean Gen. Paik Sun-yup and U.S. Medal of Honor recipient Col. Ralph Puckett Jr., as well as two symbolic figures — an American infantryman and a Korean augmentee to the U.S. Army, better known as KATUSA.

Six months after the passing of COL Puckett, the NIM unveiled a memorial conveying The Ranger as one of the four representative figures of the Korean Conflict.
