The Congressional Medal of Honor Society was chartered by Congress in 1958 to protect, preserve, and perpetuate the legacy of the Medal of Honor and its Recipients.

 

The Society’s membership is composed exclusively of the living Recipients of the esteemed Medal of Honor.

 

Annually, the Society sponsors a Medal of Honor Celebration Convention, a poignant gathering of family, friends and associates that pays tribute to the indomitable human spirit and selfless sacrifice of recipients of the Medal of Honor.
